Dear chess friends,

We have the pleasure to announce that the Permanent
Commission of the FIDE for Chess Composition decided during its meetings
in Pula 2000 and Wageningen 2001 that Macedonia should organize the 7th
World Chess Composition Tournament (7th WCCT). We would like to invite
all FIDE member countries to take part in this world team championship
devoted to the realm of composing chess problems and studies.

The Director of the 7th WCCT is Zivko Janevski,

Please affirm your country’s intention to participate
by sending your application to the Director before
the 1st of March 2002, including the name
and address (home, e-mail, etc.) of your country’s team-leader.

Three entries are permitted in each of the 7 sections
of the WCCT (see General Rules and Themes). All entries must be sent to
the Tournament Director by the 1st of March 2003 (postmark).

and other material regarding the WCCT may be found on the PCCC web-site:
