Solvers’ ratings as of April 1^st 2018 produced by the Solving Tournament Manager are published!
11 tournaments are included for the 1^st quarter 2018: 5^th Greek Chess Solving Cup, 41^st International Polish Championship 2018, 14^th International Solving Contest Cat 1, 12^th Urals Problemist Cup, Grand Prix Moscow (memorial A. P. Pochinka), British Chess Solving Championship 2018, Finnish Chess Solving Championship 2018, 24^th Dutch Open Chess Solving Championship 2018, 27^th Branko Atanackovic Memorial 2018, 42^nd German Solving Championship 2018, Open Solving Championship of CFO. The names of the top ten solvers haven’t changed; but some of them have exchanged their places with Piotr Murdzia as the most prominent one to be 2^nd again in the ranking. The largest three gains have been achieved by Danila Moiseev (RUS / +111.41), Johan de Boer (NED / +56.63 and Konstantin Novikov (RUS / +41.95).

Ulrich Voigt (GER) has achieved an FM norm in the second rated solving tournament he has attended.

Solvers’ ratings as of January 1^st 2018 produced by the Solving Tournament Manager are published! 
9 tournaments are included for the 4^th quarter 2017: 26^th Kedainiai Cup, Open Solving Championship of CFO, 10^th Albino Cup, 4^th Round of Serbian Solving League 2017, 28^th Henk Hagedoorn Memorial 2017, XVI WSGP 2017 Open, XVI Warsaw Grand Prix 2017, 24^th Belgian Championship 2017, 5^th Round of Serbian Solving League 2017. The ranking of the top ten solvers remains the same. Vidmantas Satkus (LTU) achieved the largest gain with an increase of 65 points which resulted in improving the ranking from the 48^th to the 26^th place.

Solvers’ ratings as of October 1^st 2017 are published! 5 tournaments are included for the 3^rd quarter: 25^th Czech Chess Solving Championship 2017, WCCC 2017 Open Solving Tournament, 41^st World Chess Solving Championship 2017, Swiss Championship 2017 and 2^nd Solving Cup Byron Zappas. Among the top ten solvers Jonathan Mestel has replaced Arno Zude and Silvio Baier jumped from rank 10 to rank 7. The new list produced by the Solving Tournament Manager now has marks for junior (j) and senior (s) solvers.

The International Chess Federation (FIDE), within the framework of its “Chess Composition” special project, is organising the 6^th FIDE World Cup in Composing for 2018 in eight sections.

The tournament is coordinated with the WFCC Presidium and is a part of the joint efforts by FIDE and WFCC for the popularization and development of chess composition worldwide.

The list of all pending solving norms for GM, IM and FM titles has been updated by the Solving Tournament Manager software and published on the Solving page. It reflects all new norms achieved and titles granted at the 60th WCCC in Dresden.

Three top solvers remain the same: Georgy Evseev, Andrey Zhuravlev and Piotr Murdzia.

The results of the multi-locations tournament – 4^th Israel Open Solving Championship 2017 – are published on the page of the Other rated solving tournaments 2017. The tournament has been won by Tomáš Peitl ahead of Martynas Limontas and Evgeny Viktorov, all with the maximum of 60 points.
